Biography

Petro Bevza was born to in 1963 in to parents who were both teachers. He joined the Kiev Art Institute in 1979. His progression as an artist has been fascinating and phenomenal, gaining international success in Europe, Canada and the US, with his unique expressionistic art that has evolved and transformed across more than 2 decades.

Bevza's own spirituality and vision of the world is apparent in his works, mixing elements of pure untarnished, almost celestial nature, urban and ancient landscape and architecture, symbolism, imagined worlds – the paintings that seek to uncover the source of life and bring forth a spiritual experience.
